It’s hard to believe we’ve been on this journey together for over a year now. When I started Newswallah, it began as a small passion project. I hoped to build a publication that not only informed people, but uplifted them.
Little did I know how this online community would blossom. We now have readers from all across India and even globally tuning in daily for stories that matter.
I’m humbled and inspired beyond words by you, our readers. Your loyalty motivates our entire team daily. The emails I receive from you, sharing how an article moved you or sparked change, mean the world.
We started out as strangers, but now feel like an extended family. And there are so many more people we have yet to reach! So I wanted to take a moment to reflect on what we’ve achieved together this past year, and where we’re headed next.
At Newswallah, we never set out to just report the news. Our mission has always been about starting important conversations and bringing people together for the greater good.
Of course, some days the world feels too harsh, too divided. But I know our shared humanity and compassion run deeper than surface conflicts. Solutions start with understanding, listening and seeing each other’s perspectives.
I’m proud of the articles we’ve published that furthered social change – whether highlighting innovators tackling local issues or injustices needing coverage. We strive to be a platform for marginalized voices.
Our team has grown tremendously. We have brilliant writers who care deeply about ethical, solutions-focused journalism. And behind the scenes, our editors work tirelessly.
Most of all, I’m grateful to you, our readers. Your openness, empathy and engagement motivate us daily. Thank you for being a part of this community we’re building together.
Looking ahead, we want to expand our reach further to keep igniting change. This year, let’s challenge ourselves to step outside comfort zones and have the hard conversations so we can grow.
